Visitors and residents of South Beach can ride the Electrowave, an all-electric transit system. Shuttles stop at 37 designated stops approximately every eight - ten minutes, along Washington Avenue between 17th Street and South Pointe Drive. The shuttle accommodates up to 22 passengers with wrap-around seating and air-conditioning. Information brochures about the area are available on the shuttle.
