A great parking tool - purchase your Parking Meter Card before or upon arrival to Miami Beach.
Parking Meter Cards are sold at the Miami Beach Visitors Center for $25. You may get a refund if you do not use the amount of time you add to the meter, just put your card back in the slot and it will add the refund amount back to your card., as easy as that! Use you parking card for electrowave rides, all parking meters and all city of miami beach garages.
Municipal Parking - Metered on-street parking is available city-wide. Meters accept quarters, nickels, dimes-at a cost of $1/hour. They also accept meter cards. Garages are $1 an hour with 24 hour maximum per facility.
Restricted, prohibited and life safety encroachments are enforced by towing 24/7. Please park in a marked parking space, always park in the direction of the flow of traffic and wear your seatbelts at all times when driving.
Do Not Park :Within 15 feet of a fire hydrant, in or encroaching any sidewalk, in the access lanes or disabled spaces, on the grass, on the sidewalk or in any alley.
ADA Accessible Parking - Accessesible parking is provided at all on-street meters, lots and garage. Do not park in the diagonally striped access lanes, they are for access, not parking and will result in a parking citation or towing of the vehicle. Display your hang tag permit on your rearview mirror. If not properly displayed, a parking citation will be issued. There is no charge for accessible parking at all on-street meters.
Valet Service - Valet parking is also available Citywide. Most of the City's larger hotels, many restaurants and nightclubs offer valet service at their front door. Valet service is also available at the Convention Center; the Jackie Gleason Theater; and Lincoln Road at Pennsylvania, Meridian and Jefferson Avenues. Please remove all personal items of value before valet parking your vehicle.
Park and Ride service is provided for all major events and large trade shows taking place in the City. Contact the City of Miami Beach Parking Hotline at (305) 673-PARK for specific information on park and ride service.
Towing - There are two towing companies on Miami Beach. Beach Towing - (305) 534 - 2128 and Tremont Towing - (305) 672 - 2395. Both companies accept cash and personal checks. Personal checks must have address printed on the check and must be from Miami-Dade or Broward County. Must present two I.D.s with same address. One I.D. must have a photo.
All meters south of 23rd Street / Dade Boulevard are enforced 9 am to midnight, 7 days.
